# Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with what you buy from us. This policy explains your rights and how we handle refunds.

## Your 14-day cancellation right, and how it works with digital patterns

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase.

Because our patterns are digital content delivered immediately, there is an important exception. When you check out, you are asked to confirm two things:

1. that you want us to supply the pattern straight away, during the 14-day cancellation period; and
2. that you understand you will lose your statutory right to cancel once the download begins.

If you give that consent and the download starts, **your statutory right to cancel ends**. This is standard for digital downloads and applies across UK online retail.

## Our own 14-day guarantee, which goes further

We know you cannot try a pattern before you buy it, so we give you more than the law requires.

**If a pattern is not what you hoped for, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.** No forms, no explanation needed.

The only thing we ask is that you tell us what did not work. It helps us write better patterns.

To request a refund, email **hellogurumi@outlook.com** from the address you used at checkout, with your order number. We aim to reply within one working day, and refunds are processed within 5 working days to your original payment method.

## If something is wrong with the pattern

Separately from the guarantee above, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

If a pattern is faulty — a corrupted file, missing pages, rounds that do not add up — tell us and we will repair or replace it. If we cannot put it right within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction, which may be a full refund.

This is your legal right and nothing in this policy affects it.

## Problems downloading

If your download link does not work, or your email never arrived, that is not a refund matter — it is something we fix. Email **hellogurumi@outlook.com** and we will send your files directly, usually the same day. Please check your junk folder first.
