# Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you buy digital crochet patterns from hellogurumi.com ("the site"). Please read them before ordering.

## 1. Who we are

The site is operated by **HELLO GURUMI**, registered at **8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Suite A, Albuquerque, NM 87113, USA**.

## 2. What you are buying

You are buying a digital crochet pattern in PDF format, delivered by email immediately after payment. You are buying a **copy of the pattern for your own use**. Nothing physical is posted to you.

## 3. Placing an order

Adding an item to your basket is not an order. Your order is an offer to buy, and a contract is formed only when we send you the email containing your download.

If we cannot supply a pattern for any reason, we will tell you and refund you in full.

## 4. Immediate supply and your cancellation right

At checkout you consent to us supplying the pattern immediately and acknowledge that you will lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel once the download begins. See our Refund Policy, which also sets out the additional 14-day guarantee we offer voluntarily.

## 5. Price and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable VAT. The price you see at checkout is the total price; there are no delivery charges, because nothing is posted.

We accept payment by debit and credit card. Payment is taken at the point of order.

## 6. What you may and may not do with a pattern

**You may:**
- make as many items as you like from the pattern, for yourself or as gifts;
- **sell the finished items you make by hand** from our patterns.

**You may not:**
- share, resell, republish or give away the pattern file itself;
- copy the text, photographs or diagrams into your own pattern;
- use our photographs to sell your finished items;
- mass-produce items by machine or through a factory.

We own the copyright in every pattern, photograph and diagram on this site. The licence above is personal to you and cannot be transferred.

## 7. Things we cannot promise

Crochet results vary with the yarn, hook and tension you use. We give the yarn weight, hook size and expected finished measurements, but we cannot guarantee your finished item will match ours exactly.

Our patterns assume you can crochet the basic stitches listed at the start of each pattern.

## 8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for it.

⚠️ **Safety note:** items made from our patterns are not certified toys. If you make something for a child under three, do not use safety eyes, buttons or any small parts that could come loose. Use embroidered features instead.

## 9. Your account and your data

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

## 10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

## 11. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
